A place I've visited multiple times while I was in the states was Mel's Drive In. It all started in Hollywood. We were planning on going somewhere else, but ended up going to Mel's Drive In. It's not only located in Hollywood. In SF I saw a few of them as well, and of course, also went there. I'm obsessed with their milkshakes. They are really good and you can mix the flavors you the way you want. Oreo and strawberry, banana and marshmallow etc. The food is good too. I've had a sandwich, and chicken 'n waffle and pancakes. Wish they had this place here in the Netherlands. Guess I got kind of obsessed with American Diners. Love the vibe and the interior. So cool. Mel's Drive In is the perfect place to just go for shakes/dessert but also a good place to eat a meal. Have you ever been to an american diner?
