All the trinkets I brought home with me. A whopping $70ish for everything!

I'm still recovering from the time change and the whirlwind that was India. We attended two shows, India International Garment Fair and IFJAS (Indian Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Show), several private buying meetings (traditional dress shop, a fine jeweler), local markets (Janpaath, Dilli Haat, Connaught Place), as well as artisans in fair trade workshops, and artisans in their homes. It was visual overload and I tried to soak up as much knowledge and beauty as humanly possible! I didn't bring my usual camera on this trip, but wanted to share some of the snapshots I managed to grab. Tomorrow I'll share a guide of what to pack and pictures of all the outfits I wore!

Have you ever been to India? What are your top travel recommendations?
